To whom it may concern: February 9, 2007
During the past 5 months it has been my privilege to serve as field work supervisor for Ms. Heidi
Limburg, 2nd
year MSW student in Western Michigan University's School of Social Work. Ms.
Limburg has demonstrated a thirst for knowledge that has enabled her to experience a variety of
school social work situations. She has pushed herselfto learn more so as to provide quality
services to the individual and group cases to which she provides direct treatment. Additionally
she has sought exposure to other aspects of the role the school social worker plays including
participation in parent-teacher conferences, special education evaluations and attendance at in
services among other opportunities.
Ms. Limburg is focused on gaining the most from her internship and so it is anticipated that the
next four months will see increased skill development. She utilizes. supervision well, seeks input
from a variety of sources and spends time in preparation for her sessions so as to be the best at
each opportunity.
I anticipate that, as she embarks on her professional social work career, this high standard will
continue to be her trademark.
Ifyou have specific questions about Ms. Limburg's experiences as my intern do not hesitate to
contact me.
Respectfully,
Steve Turner MSW
School Social Worker
