To whom it may concern:
It is a pleasure for me to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Inge-Martin Tverborgivik
in support of his application for a position vacancy in your organization. Mr Tverborgivik was
selected to serve as a peer instructor during the 2015 fall semester in one of the courses that I
teach, ACP 250, Metropolitan Issues Education. Based on his work in my course and my many
conversations with him, I believe I can write about him with some authority.
With regard to Mr Tverborgivik’s academic background, he was an extremely bright, hard-
working, and focused student. As a peer instructor in class I found Mr Tverborgivik to possess
excellent oral and written communication skills. He is a thoughtful listener and speaks to others
with care and respect. He also worked well in collaboration with other students on assignments
in class. He speaks several languages and has a particular interest in working in international
relations. Prior to transferring to Roosevelt University he was enrolled at Joliet Junior College
where he started the international student club and served as its first president. He was also so
highly regarded by faculty, students, and staff that he was selected as the Joliet Junior College
student commencement speaker in 2014.
With regard to his work experience, he has had a varied and rich array of experiences which
would make him an ideal candidate working with a diverse work force and client base. For
example, he currently serves as an intern at Joliet Junior College’s office of international student
services where he works with prospective international students, maintains a blog for
promotional purposes, and is developing a communication plan to further enhance their
marketing efforts.
In my opinion, it is also important to note that I believe he has a tremendous sense of empathy,
care, and concern for others. In my opinion I believe he would make an excellent employee and
colleague in a wide range of educational and business organizations. I hope you will give him
your careful consideration. Please feel free to contact me at (312) 853-4760 if I might provide
you with additional information.
Sincerely,
Gregory M. Hauser, PhD
