2. Introduction
PIA Training Centre established in Karachi, with more than 50
years of experience in aviation training
• There was no Professional training Institute in North region for
aviation training
• In 2015 PIA Training Centre expanded its business by opening
one of its Training Centre in Rawalpindi.

Strategic Planning:
1.Faculty should be kept motivated
2.Training Centre should stay in Rawalpindi as it cater trainees from Islamabad,
upper Punjab, and KPK areas
3. MOU should be continued with PIA Engineering Department for availability of
Aircraft for Training purposes.
4.Literature will be updated and revised keeping in view the technology changes
and PCAA requirements.
5.Policies should be implemented and high level of discipline will be maintained to
improve the culture.

15. Strategic Planning
After doing all the internal and external environment analysis,
the strategic planning of PIA Training Centre should be:
• Utilizing the Human Resource and Information resource
efficiently to optimize the Organizational Output.
• Company policy and Procedure should be improved to remove
all types of negative cultures prevailing in the organization.
• New courses should be designed and marketed for
New/Emerging Airlines.
• Economies of Scale should be achieved as early as possible
before the competitors gets PCAA approval and start the
training operation. This can be achieved by offering maximum
courses per year and then reducing the Fees of Courses s
compared to the Fee Structure offered by the new entrants.
