2. The social groups of my magazine are
teenagers age 16-24 but male and females
but more males.
3. I have used a lot of slang in my double page spread article. I
did not use standard English compared to other magazines
because my magazine is aimed at teenagers. The use of
slang has portrayed the teenage audience. Being a teenager
I know how teenagers speak so I wrote the article being
myself and how I would speak to another friend who is a
teenager. An example of what I said is ‘I was told I had
f*****g awesome voice’
4. I also portrayed my audience by the clothing the cover star wore.
He wore skinny black jeans and a hoodie, I wanted the cover star
to wear normal everyday clothing so the reader/ audience can
relate to him.The use of normal everyday clothing portrays the
audience because it is what teenage boys and girls will wear. Also
the skull on the hoodie reinforces the rock genre. I added a lot of
images which portrays the audience because teenagers would
prefer lots of images and less text.
5. I haven't included any females in my
magazine because my magazine is aimed
mostly at males and most rock singers are
males as well as the majority of people who
listen to rock music are males. But my
magazine does include bands with female
singers in them.
