Succession Planning for CEO
 CEO is appointed by Prime Minister of Pakistan in NESPAK
 In case of any accident of the CEO, NESPAK and PM are
responsible for the appointment of new CEO.

Usually NESPAK helds one day orientation (5-6hours) after six
months or one year.

 Off the job training cost is ranging from $1000-1200

 Two method are used for the evaluation of training
a. Questionnaire

 Career Developement:
 NESPAK has a unique structure about the career
development of their employee which is based on points
system.

 Point System
 If you get minimum 60 points on your performance appraisal
you fall in the category in grade 8.
 If you get 74 points then fall in 8 + grade category and so on.
 An increase in the grade of an employee causes increse in the
salary and Benifits.
6. Compensation & Benefits
 Rewards:
 Three types of rewards are given by NESPAK to
its employees:
a. Young Employee of the year
b. Senior Employee of the year
c. Engineer of the year
Compensation & Benefits
 Incentives:
 There are cash rewards on the basis of performance to new
and old employees. Bonuses are also given to the employee
of NESPAK based on their point system.
 Insurance and Retirement Benefits
7. Performance Appraisal
 Based on the number of activities perform by an employees.
 used to check whether the employee’s performance
 Employee’s promotion and other benifits are based on the
performance of its PA.
8. Personal Administration
 Two types of rewards are given to the permanent
employees in NESPAK:
a. Intrinsic (monitory)
b. Extrinsic (nonmonetary)
 Government Legislation Impact:
As NESPAK is a semi government organization so government
legislation has direct impact on the organization.
