•Hospital Management System is a computer
system that helps to manage the information
related to health care and aids in the job
completion of health care providers effectively.
•They manage the data related to all departments
of healthcare.

6. What does it inclide ?
Hospital Management is the process where healthcare providers effectively and
efficiently administer everything from patient registration to appointment
scheduling, document management, consultation management, lab management,
drug safety, report generation, staff management, outpatient management, and so
much more.

7. APPOINTMENT MODULE
Appointment module in hospital management arranges the
schedule of doctors due to the patients’ application.
It helps to organize the availability of medical specialists at
any convenient time.
Some hospital can even offer remote visits when you need
immediate assistance.

8. CONT.....
• In order to book an appointment,the user has to enter the
patient’s name,age, contact number, gender and appointment
time. To view all the available appointment details, the user just
has to click on the “Next Patient” button on the Display module.
Remaining feature is about updating and deleting records.
Simply by entering patient’s name, the user can edit and update
the details. The design is so simple that the user won’t find any
difficulties while working on it.

• Laboratory management allows for the
faster retrieval of the laboratory analysis
and test results. Proper software can quickly
notify physicians and patients about the
results of the analysis as well as provide
easy access to all the lab information in one
place.

PRESCRIBED TESTS TO THE PATIENTS BY THE
DOCTOR AND TO INSERT THE DETAILS OF
THE TEST REPORTS.

15. USE OF LABORATORY MODULE
• Laboratory module have been designed to manage all
activities of different laboratory.
• Admin can create different departments based on
various laboratory section such as Clinical Biochemistry,
Immunology, Endocrinology, Clinical Microbiology, Hemato-
pathology and Immuno-Hematology, Transfusion Medicine,
Laboratory Genetics and Molecular Biology.
• department, X-ray department etc. Admin can also
parmit the lab resource person as labrotorist as he/she
can manage all activities smoothly.

16. BARCODE TRACKING
• Barcode for TrackingRemedium's Laboratory
module is integrated. with Barcode and RFID to
track the samples movement across the
hospital and outside too when samples are
sent to external laboratory for testing. The lab
module automates sample collection and
management with minimal errors. The lab
module enhances overall patient safety and
satisfaction in addition to the quality of care
provided by medical personnel. It reduces
medical errors and also improves the quality
maintenance of laboratory performance.

• Integration with EMRRemedium's Laboratory Module has access to MIS
and is very essential in generating Test Results.
• This Module is integrated with the Patient Medical Record within a
hospital setting and includes all the patient results and reports in EMR.
• Even for stand alone laboratories, it is possible to share patient
information through EMR.
• This feature tracks each patient's laboratory sample and the test
results obtained for the same.
