The Vision
Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, shall strive towards becoming a World Class
Institution with the vision of transforming meritorious rural youth into professionals equipped with high level of
technical knowledge, skills, ethics, social, economic and environmental awareness and values. The University shall
be a valuable contributor to the industry, R&D and technical education by providing quality manpower through
excellence in teaching, research, consultancy, continuing education and outreach programs.
The Mission
To create Knowledge Hub for producing qualified manpower possessing industry-ready skills and qualifications in
different branches of Engineering.
To develop the Institution into a highly research-centric and knowledge acquisition and dissemination centre.
To forge productive collaborations between Industry, R&D Institutions and RGUKT that will be beneficial for all
stake holders.
To promote and propagate innovative teaching and learning programs and create specialized centres of Learning/
Training that will participate in sharing of intellectual resources and academic facilities with other institutions.
To encourage a holistic development of students by creating world class laboratories, extra and co-curricular activit

t Average (GPA) obtained in 10th Grade/Class.
A Deprivation score of 0.4 is added to GPA of
those applicants who studied in Non-Residenti

Telangana Innovation and Incubation Centre (TIIC) at the
RGUKT premises.
The first incubation “Safe Trace” hub (a Japanese
company) has started functioning at TIIC. About 15 E4students
and 25 E3 students are take up productdevelopment.
Another Incubation centre by Haritha Technologies with
focus on Development and Consulting (JAVA and .NET) willbe
starting to function from July2017.
