9. Acid Value + FFA
• Thai FDA : Acid Value <0.6 mg KOH/g
• That means RBO oryzanol content 8000 ppm.
• National Bureau of Agricultural Commodity and
Food Standards (ACFS) together with Thai FDA,
Department of Medical Sciences, Universities are
doing research for using FFA for refined RBO,
assigned by 25th SESSION OF THE CODEX
COMMITTEE ON FATS AND OILS (CCFO).
