3. ABOUT HOSPITAL & ITS HISTORY
Maharaja Fatehsinghrao Gaekwad was the king during
colonial period. He was the king from The Famous Gaekwad
Family or known as the King Of Baroda (1951-1988).
He had constructed this hospital for the people who could
not afford the medical bills of expensive private hospitals.
He built this hospital during end of colonial period or
independence for a reason.
After India got independence, many people got homeless
due to partition & at that time their was no proper medical
facilities in country. During that time many people died due
to disease like plague, viral fever, cold, etc and not getting
any proper treatment. So Maharaja made a decision to
built a General Hospital for people.
4. ABOUT LOCATION…
Hospital is Located on the bank of River Vatrak in Bayad.
Hospital has a big campus which includes large space for
Parking, Gardens, Food Canteens, Medical Stores, Doctor
Quarters, etc.
Due to its location near to river, the campus have so many
vegetation which includes many herbal trees, plants, etc
and all are well maintained.
Hospital campus also had a College & Hostel
“Mahavir College of Nursing” which is only for girls where
girls pursue their degree in nursing in no fees.

6. PREPARATORY PHASE
The preparatory phase is the starting point of any project or plan,
where you lay the groundwork for the planning phase.
So as we know it was constructed by Maharaja Gaekwad by
himself but Now it is under The Trust & Government.
King was well educated and know his objective which was to give
medical facilities for those who can’t afford expenses.
A hospital had a team of qualified professionals to provide care,
including doctors, nurses, administrators, and support staff.
Hospital had all the necessary medical equipment, supplies, and
medicines needed to provide care.
Design and Construction of Hospital is Comfortable, Accessible
and Safe for patient
Staff is trained and oriented to the hospital's policies, procedures,
and equipment to ensure that they are ready to provide care to
patients.
7. SITUATIONAL ANALYSIS
A situational analysis of a hospital involves examining its internal and
external environments to understand its strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats.
Organization who runs & handling the management of hospital is well
strengthens by their chairpersons & philanthropists.
Well this hospital is both trust funded and government funded. So
Government also look after all the necessary concerns.
All the doctors are well and highly qualified in their respective fields
which includes Physicians, Surgeons, Nurses, Lab technicians,
Administrators, etc.
All The medical equipment facilities are provided here like Lab
checkups, Reports, X-ray, Sonography, CT scans, Dialysis machines,
Physiotherapy equipment, etc.
Hospital’s physical infrastructure includes all the rooms like General
Ward, Special Ward, Standard Ward, ICUs, Dressing Room, Labs,
Administration Offices, Operation Theatre, etc.
The hospital's performance is well famous in region for patient safety,
clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction.
8. IDENTIFYING PROBLEMS/NEEDS
Starting a hospital can be a significant undertaking, requiring
significant planning and resources.
Hospital full fill its all the requirements on daily basis & healthcare
services.
Hospital is providing specialized medical services, such as child care,
Healthcare related to lifestyle diseases, Cancer Care, etc.
If patient have any problem regarding to hospital services, he/she can
go to main administration office and can discuss their problem which is
solved by them as soon as possible.

The planning of management functions and strategy
management of a hospital are crucial for ensuring that the
hospital runs efficiently and effectively in providing quality
healthcare services.
Hospital’s Planning includes its Goals and objective which is
to provide best medical health care for every person and it
should be affordable {case fee is just 20 to 50 rupees for any
medical consultation}.
Hospital’s goal is also optimized by funding from NGOs,
industrialists, businessman, and other donations.
All the Department of Hospital is well managed by staffs and
doctors through their ultimate action plans.
Hospital’s strategy is well developed and effectively
implemented and can also change with the performance or
requirements.
10. IMPLEMENTATION
Implementing hospital management requires a systematic
approach to ensure the smooth functioning of healthcare
facilities.
Hospital provides all health care services to patient at very
reduced cost because it is non profitable or it is just for public
care.
Hospital marking all assessment & performance which
includes weakness and strength and records on daily basis
and discussed by chairpersons of organizations thoroughly
and implement the require changes.
Continuously improve the hospital management system to
ensure that it meets the changing needs of the healthcare
facility and the patients it serves.
11. EVALUATION
The evaluation typically involves a comprehensive
assessment of the hospital's organizational structure,
management practices, policies and procedures, and
performance metrics.
For Good and Proper management of Hospital, it have senior
doctors team which makes important decisions, senior
management team which holds the proper functioning.
Also The Directors of Hospital Board overseeing the Hospital
Management and engagement or dedication towards the
work.
Due to this, quality health care is provided to patients.
12. COMMUNICATION
Effective communication in health care can make a life-
or-death difference. Health administrators and other
healthcare professionals can benefit from learning more
about types of communication in health care, barriers to
communication in health care, and evidence-based
strategies for effective communication in health care
today.
Skillful communication enables healthcare providers to
establish rapport with their patients, solicit crucial health
information, and work effectively with all members of a
care team and the public.
13. RE-PLANNING & DECISION MAKING
Re-Planning and Decision making is must needed for
hospitals to do more progress
For this several sources are obtained such as Reviews
and feedbacks from patients & employees, financial
data, and other research.
After understanding all the sources new decisions
should also improvise in order for better progress.
In order to make decisions, the must involvement of
doctors, directors, managers, employees, medical
staffs and patients is needed.
