1. SANCTUARY FALLS
Sanctuary Falls is a landmark community in the prestigious Jumeirah Golf Estates
(Dubai, UAE). The community features a collection of 97 luxury villas designed in
difference types and styles.
Villas Types and styles:
The 97 villas are divided into 26 types varying due to site and plot factors, the types
are three main groups Standard Villas (A,B,C ……..K), Hybrid Villas and Custom
villas. Each type has its own design and characters.
Each Villa type has 3 options for external and internal styles contemporary, modern
and traditional.
The styles having different characters in design, materials, finishes and colours,
which create a different image and identity for each style and all the villas are
sharing the main elements for each style (Contemporary, Modern, and traditional).

External Materials, the villas are varying between the styles in the materials and
different materials are being used:
1- Mainly the villas constructed by thermal block plastered and painted based on
the style.
2- Stone cladding differs between the styles.
3- Aluminium and glazing.
4- Weather boards.

6- Cement boards.
7- Wooden doors.
8- Aluminium balustrades.
Internal materials depends on the styles:
1- Flooring: Ceramic tile, marble, wooden flooring and carpets.
2- Ceiling by using gypsum boards.
3- Main wall finishes is plaster and paint.
4- Bathroom walls tiles and marble.
5- Stainless steel and glass handrails, wrought iron handrails.
I am part of Technical Dept. team working with 8 draftsmen and
My Duties as Architect in This project is :
1- Coordination with consultant, sub-contractors, and the site engineers in all
architectural and interior issues; coordination with structural and MEP departments.
2- Prepare shop drawings in accordance to the design of the consultants, specs and
BOQ, which satisfy the construction needs of the site engineers. And based on work
priorities as per the main project base line programme.
3- Paper work includes letters, RFI’s, and variation notices.
4- Continuous site visits to ensure the work is being implemented as per the approved
drawings, and provide solutions and proposals for the site problems.
