a barrier to the weaning of ventilator and airway patients.

discharges, provide pharmacotherapy solutions, communicate antibiotic plans from

• Present pharmacy department presentation at nursing orientation meeting.
• Overnight on-call duties: assist in retrieval of medications, help with medication
calculations, and if needed coming in to mix any high risk medications that are not
available as floor stock.
• Manage pharmacy inventory: returning excess inventory to wholesaler, transfer
extra inventory to other Select Specialty Hospitals, activating new drugs,
inactivating old drugs, run price updates, adding drugs to med-dispense cabinet,
removal of outdated medications from med-dispense and emergency kits.
