My passion for Interior
Design started my freshman year of
college when I took my first studio
class. To me interior design is much
different than any other career.
Being a part of a team makes me
feel like I am making a difference
and that my ideas really matter. I
enjoy every aspect of the design
process from the concept to the job
site to the final product. I am
continuing to learn everything I can
about all aspects of design. I look
forward to talking with you further
about my love for interior design!
4. 1. City Living
REVIT & PHOTOSHOPLocation: Seattle, WA
Inspired by my endless
search for an affordable apartment
in Seattle, I decided to design my
own affordable one bedroom
apartment. My design style is very
minimal and contemporary. One of
my favorite design styles is
mid-century modern and I tried to
incorporate this into my design.
Walking into a joint dining room/
kitchen leading to the living room
that looks over the north side of the
city creates an open floor plan with
an elegant look. This apartment
includes anyones dream wish list
for a affordable apartment in the
city. This includes high ceilings,
laundry room, office, a bedroom, a
walk in closet, two bathrooms and
a wrap around balcony. Though in
reality this apartment would cost
between $2200 - $3000 a month,
through design dreams can come
true!

6. 2. Freitag Retail Store
Location: Los Angeles, CA
First Floor Second Floor
REVIT & PHOTOSHOP
Freitag is a retail store
based out of Europe that designs
& sells durable messenger bags
made from old truck tarpolines.
They have many locations in the US
and were looking to expand to Los
Angeles, CA.
Inspired from the oudoorsy
clientele of Freitag, the concept for
this design is to bring the outside in!
The customers who shop at
Freitag love out door activities
mainly bike riding! So it was
important to create a friendly
atmosphere for this group of
people! This includes road & street
signs, a living green wall, an outside
retail space & glass paneling
exterior walls. The first floor
contains the retail space while
the second floor is used for multi
purpose uses. This includes a
conference area, a station where
the customers can design their own
bags & a coffee shop! The whole
idea behind this design was to
create a space that draws
customers in and keeps them in
while interacting with the space.
8. 3. Wedding Venue
Location: Spokane, WA
Canada Island HAND SKETCHING
Wedding Venue Perspective Reception Perspective
Canada Island was in need
of a renovation. For years it has
been run down, homeless people
started to live on it and not many
people visited the island. This
inspired me to create uses on the
island that would bring more people
to the island. Inspired by A Walk to
Remember I decided to turn
Canada Island into a wedding
venue. Some important aspects I
included into my design to bring my
concept to life was to create a long
walk from across the island to the
alter while also creating
memorable views connecting the
people who visited the island to the
city of Spokane as well. Though
there will not be weddings
constantly occupying the island the
multipurpose spaces make it
possible for other important events
to be held such as receptions,
family gatherings, catering events,
ceremonies & for anyone who
wants to spend their day at the
park!
