LinkedIn Reports
1. Hi All,
I am trying to find ways I can work more efficiently to get to your LinkedIn requests done quicker.
One of the ways you can help me is by making sure that you send me the correct information for all
LinkedIn Reports:
Please see below a reminder about all the reporting and pre-sales data that we have available on
LinkedIn.
I have also made a list of all that you need to send me to ensure I am able to request it for you ASAP.
There is an explanation of each ( I have uploaded it to the pantry- Under important publisher
announcements)
This information is what their local sales teams use for their meetings, proposals and presentations
to clients and agencies.
The tools are incredibly useful in getting buy in from clients and demonstrating the value of the
LinkedIn platform. It can help clients to define target audiences and behavior, measure their
presence on LinkedIn vs. their competitors, identify what is trending on LinkedIn and analyze their
company page and follower presence plus much much more!
The standard turnaround time for these requests is 48 hours.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Sam
**Panorama**
What is it?
Panorama is a tool that allows us to benchmark how an audience behaves on LinkedIn. It is incredibly
useful when looking at active members, how they use desktop vs. mobile and how they behave on
LinkedIn.
When shall I use it?
You can use this in the pre-sales stage to demonstrate how a target audience is comprised on
LinkedIn.Make recommendations on targeting, tie in products with activity base on LinkedIn (e.g. 62% of
ITDMs in Kenya have read an inmail).
What do I need to submit?
I please need:

3. **Baseline**
What is it?
Baseline allows us to look at benchmarks for CTR and engagement for all linkedIn products. It also allows
us to look at performance by target audience, industry of the advertiser and certain geographies.
When shall I use it?
Use this in the pre-sales stage and post-sales. This can be used to set clients expectations for results. It
can also be used after a campaign has ran for us to understand how it performed vs. the norm. Please
remember to set expectations with your client that we do not guarantee the performance and that these
numbers are only an indication based on historic campaigns.
What do I need to submit?
I please need:

**Merlin Pre-Sales Reports**
What is it?
Merlin reports allow us to look at 1)company pages 2) followers. The difference between these two is
that a company page report would show demographics of visitors to the company page and the follower
report would show a breakdown of followers.
When shall I use it?
I would recommend using the two together. These reports give a great indication of a
companies presence on LinkedIn; how they have been doing over time and scope for growth. The biggest
action point from such reports is show a company the potential they have to grow or to meet
their specific marketing objectives. An example would be to highlight a specific target audience or
geography that a brand is eager to gain a strong presence in and demonstrate how they could utilize
followers or sponsored updates in the area.
What do I need to submit?
I please need:
1. Choose between the following Merlin Report to pull:

**Content Marketing Score (CMS)**
What is it?
5. CMS allows us to measure how a company is performing when it comes to content marketing on
LinkedIn. The score looks at 5 key area (SU, Influencers, Groups, Employee Posts and Company Updates).
This then gives a final score that looks at how a company is positioned in comparison to up to 9 rivals in
the market.
When shall I use it?
CMS can be used for almost all active clients (they must have a company page). Use this when pitching SU
to demonstrate their current position in the market and what competitors are doing. In addition, use it
for your most strategic clients who have a strong presence on LinkedIn to demonstrate their results.
What do I need to submit?
I please need:
- Link to the relevant Company Page on LinkedIn.
-Links to 9 Competitors (You can have a maximum of 9 and a minimum of 6)
(I please need the LinkedIn Company Page link for each Competitor)
6. TrendIn
What is it?

for various geographies, topics and audiences. We can therefore look at it by topic (e.g. If you want to see
what type of content is being shared about automotive) or to by audience (e.g
