2. Problems
Lots of water around the world is not clean.
People die because of polluted water.
People get diseases because of water pollution.
3. Research
Steps to clean water so you can drink it.
Step 1, Clean the container.
Step 2, Then filter the water by putting the water
through a silk cloth over the container.
Step 3, Add some cleaning chemicals to speed
up the cleaning process.
Step 4, Boil the water to purify it.
Step 5, Put the water back in the container and
put the cap back on.
4. Research continued
Step 6, Add some flavor, if you want.
Step 7, Carefully take off the cap because if you
touch the inside rim you could contaminate it.
Step 8, Carefully drink the water.
5. Experiment
EXPERIMENT
To solve the problem of boiling water to make it
clean we did an experiment with salt water and
tap water in metal and glass beakers and put
them on a hot plate so we can see which one
boils faster .To see which one boiled quicker, we
made a double bar graph with the results of the
experiment.
8. Conclusion
We learned that distilled water boils at 100oC
and that tap and salt water boil around 900C.
The tap water boiled faster than the salt water.
The metal pan helped keep the heat in.
