10. CREATE FOR DESIGN #1
• Our heat is our solar oven maximum temperature subtract
from the control score:49-55= -6
• Our total impact score is 6
• Can't answer any other questions because I did not collect
correct data

11. IMPROVE FOR DESIGN #1
• The total score for our solar oven was -6 points
• The parts of our solar oven that worked well was the flat felt because it
kept the heat in.
• The parts of the solar oven that did not work was the sand because it did
not heat the air and the dark cloth because it didn't help much to keep the
heat.
• We are try to improve we will try to improve all are scores
• We will improve are time score by not messing with the solar oven and we
will improve the heat score by replacing the sand with anther unit of felt.

18. CREATE FOR DESIGN #2
• Our heat score is our solar oven score maximum temperature
subtracted from the control oven:43–41=2
• Our time score is the number of minutes it took to cool down
witch was 5 minutes.
• Our total impact score was 9 points
• Our new total score for the solar oven is -2

19. REFLECTION
• Our improved design worked better because we added more
felt and sheared the cloth. The felt kept more heat in than the
sand and the cloth did not change the heat score when
sheared. We know our design worked because our overall
score increased.
• If we could improve again, we would replace the cloth with
newspaper because it will give us a lower impact score.
