Komoto Copper Company SARL (KCC SARL) operates a large scale copper-cobalt mine complex in Kolwezi, Democratic Republic of Congo, refurbishing and expanding operations. The project involves constructing a stone crusher, conveyor belts, and transfer towers to crush ore, transport crushed pieces to stockpiles, and prepare copper-rich solution. The multi-year project located in Kolwezi, DRC started in July 2013 and is currently ongoing, with construction activities over 100% complete and operations continuing successfully.

Komoto Copper Company SARL (KCC SARL) operates a large scale copper-cobalt mine
complex at Kolwezi in the Democratic Republic of Congo(DRC).KCC SARL is refurbishing and
expanding this operation to produce a world class copper and cobalt company that brings
benefit to all stakeholders.
CONSTRUCTION OF KOV STONE CRUSHER/COVEYOR BELTS AND TRANSFER TOWERS OF CONVEYORS.
The KOV Stone Crusher is used to Crush Ore Stone by means of Rock Breaker, Apron Feeder,
Vibrating Grizzly and Jaw Crusher for crushing Ore Stone in Small pieces and transporting them to
the stock piles by means of conveyor belts and transfer towers.
Mined ore- gets transported by dump trucks
from the blasting area to the Stone Crusher
then to Vibrating Grizzly from where the small
stones are discharged on conveyor belts and
all the large stones are dispatched to Jaw
crusher where they are crushed in a small
pieces and being transported by means of
conveyor and transfer towers to the stock
piles. Once the crushed ore is in stockpile
conveyors, then to CM5 Cyclone flotation
tanks where the Ore rises and overflows into
tanks. The product is then pumped to
receiving area through belt filters to remove
water and then pumped to Re-pulp area
where it’s mixed with sulphuric acid
electrolyte. The product is then pumped to the
Leaching preparation tanks to remove iron,
then to the CCD area which prepares for the
final Copper rich solution.
