Employment & Work Experience
JD Sports, London (Brent Cross/Oxford St) – Customer Assistant, Sept 2015 – April 2016
Alongside my studying commitments, I took a part-time role at this retail chain. Combined with customer facing roles
I was also responsible for effective organisation and distribution of the merchandise for customers. In this busy and
client-centric environment, I had to work under pressure to deliver both fast and efficient customer service by
communicating clearly and affectively with colleagues and customers.
Coutts Bank, London – Work Experience, July 2015
As a result of my exceptional performance on the Arrival Education ‘Talent Development Programme’, I was provided
a mentor from Coutts Bank. Having impressed this Executive Director with my willingness to learn and apply myself I
was given a unique opportunity to work shadow him for a week. I was exposed to a range of corporate environments
from senior committee meetings, to firm-wide sales presentations and even a client meeting. This experience gave
me a detailed insight of what is expected from a professional, sophisticated and fast-paced office environment.
