2. Classroom Environment and Philosophy
• Our goal is to create a classroom that feels safe and
nurturing while inspiring learning.
• It is important that the students feel that the room is a “Safe
Zone.” Meaning, that teasing is not permitted but that full
assistance and acceptance is upheld and valued.
• The physical environment will be calm and organized.
• Students will be provided engaging material and work
cooperatively with others through activities and lessons to
build a TEAM atmosphere.
