and retail markets, I achieved the following:
• C.I. Manager responsible for managing the continuous improvement program in
the Batavia facility. I lead Six Sigma and LEAN events, develop and mentor
Green Belts and Skill Coaches, and I am responsible for ensuring the plant
achieves its COGS savings goal for each calendar year. I am also a member of
2. the plant staff and contribute to the overall management and direction of the
facility.
• The plant has incurred COGS and Cost Avoidance Savings of over $800,000 by
completing 20 Six Sigma and 76 LEAN events since Feb of 2014. I have led 7
Six Sigma and 50 LEAN events. 8 Green Belts and 5 skill coaches have also
been trained and are leading events.
• LEAN events are being used to process map new production work cells to
identify and create JSA’s, SOP’s, Method Sheets, and One Point Lessons during
the start up of the plant. All of this standard work is used to ensure each operator
is managing their work area the same way on each shift.
• I created a 5S Zone Auditing Program for the plant which includes Zone
Leaders and Auditors. Each zone has its own communication board where metrics
and weekly audits are posted. There is also a main board in the employee entrance
hallway which shows the monthly audits results for each zone.

Nestle, I achieved the following:
• Production Manager responsible for 10 high speed blow molding lines and all
shifts of production. Managed 3 supervisors, 6 team leaders and 60 hourly
associates across 3 shifts during a 24/7 operation. Filled in for Plant Manager
when necessary and led the Tier RCCA process in the plant.
• Created over 70 new Standard Work and SOP documents to ensure consistency
with our processes and operator tasks on the plant floor. Instituted a 5-S Program
and led multiple SMED Events on the blow molding wheel change overs.
Changeover times went from over 24 hours to under 14 and the MOEE
performance improved by over 20% during start up and line out.

I achieved the following:
• Director of Operations for the MIS Division which employed 210 team members
and had an annual sales volume of over $20 million. I was responsible for all
aspects of Operations including Manufacturing, Maintenance, Planning, and
3. Logistics. I had 10 direct reports which included the Planning Manager, Shipping
Manager, Maintenance Manager, and 7 production supervisors.
• During my tenure we achieved the following improvements. We improved OTD
from 75% to 92% by increasing capacity throughput setting FIFO lanes for
production, reducing set up times using SMED techniques, and increasing our
density on the Paint Line. We raised efficiencies from 75% to 87% in Welding
by increasing our robot utilization. We lowered overall indirect from 25% to
17% by combining job tasks and implementing a cart system in the Machining
area.

following:
• Area Manager for Crystal and Metal Machining and Processing. I was responsible
for 3 area leaders and establishing and adhering to annual budgets, meeting
performance metrics such as zero safety incidents, first time Quality, on time
delivery, machine up-time, 5-S audit schedules, inventory reduction, and process
time reduction.
• I was also responsible for leading the TPM Pillar program and leading Lean
Events at the facility. My responsibilities included, participating on the WCM
Steering Committee, establishing the savings budget for the year, mentoring the
green belts and leading projects of my own. I completed 6 projects ranging from
TPM to Value Stream Mapping sessions that have yielded $150,000 of annual
savings.
