SANSlide crushes the effects of latency by up to

It does three simple things really well:

SANSlide packs lots more data together so the
pipe is continuously filled to capacity as it
transports your data.

Crushing the effects of latency requires intelligence.
Neural networks link everything together to work in
perfect harmony, optimizing the data flow from one
end to the other.
Data caching
You can't send what you haven't got. Equally, you
can't store it if you have too much. Smart caching
makes sure you just have enough to keep things
flowing without letting data go stale.
Sounds complicated? It isn’t. It is simple WAN optimization
with no de-duplication, no compression and no high
computational overheads. In fact, this light touch approach is
also data agnostic so it is not affected by compressed or
encrypted data which restricts traditionally complex WAN
optimization tools.
SANSlide simply improves performance by sympathetically
working with the TCP protocol (so you don’t have to change
your network) and continuously filling the pipe full of data. The

Global Financial Institution
Month-end backup involved copying data via a 10Gb/s
WAN between two sites hundreds of miles apart in
different European countries. It was taking more than
a month to complete, representing a critical business
risk. The incumbent provider’s proposal to install a
Virtual Tape Library at a cost of over $1 million was
thrown out. Instead, using the existing WAN with two
SANSlide nodes (restricted by the client to 180MB/s to
allow for other traffic on the same network) the entire
back-up now completes in scheduled chunks over
7 days. With minimal investment, 80% expansion
