My resume is attached for your consideration. I am interested in the intervention
specialist job opening in your school district. I will graduate from Miami University with
a Bachelors degree in Mild-Moderate Special Education in May of 2015. I am
currently student teaching in an inclusive setting with small-group
intervention/instruction at Winton Woods Elementary School.
This resume will outline my wide variety of experiences with special education and will
highlight my commitment to serving students with learning disabilities.
It will showcase my successes with:

Additionally, the enclosed resume displays my involvement with special education
outside of the classroom through my involvement in programs such as Miami’s Student
Council for Exceptional Children and DODD- HPC services.
My greatest attribute is my innate empathy and desire to be an advocate for all of my
students. This commitment to my students will promote a positive classroom
environment and will encourage all of my students to reach their fullest potential.
