The document describes the MV-4, a robotic system designed for landmine clearance. It can be used with different tool attachments for efficient demining, including a flail tool, tiller tool, segmented roller tool, dozer blade tool, gripper tool, rear forklift, rear shovel, and robotic arm. The MV-4 is explosion proof, easy to transport, offers excellent maneuverability, and requires minimal maintenance.
2. MULTIFUNCTIONAL
TOOL ATTACHMENTS
Safe side of
demining
The MV-4 is an original robotic system designed
and constructed by expert engineers and
professionals with vast experience in landmine
clearance. The primary objective was to design
a system that could perform the dangerous task
of demining in the best and safest way possible.
Resistant to effects of explosive devices,
primarily AP mines and UXO-s, the MV-4 is
protected by HARDOX steel plates, its unique
structure and low profi le. Even if it encounters
AT mine, survivability tests prove that only the
clearing tool will get limited scale damage. The
replacement of damaged parts is a simple and
quick procedure, easily done in any working
environment.
02 / DOK-ING MV-4
Beside standard Flail tool effi cient on all
types of terrain, in particular those with
vegetation, the MV-4 can be used with a
set of different tool attachments which
support its effi ciency and multipurpose
functions.
Tiller Tool - Tiller shows its effi ciency both on hard
and soft terrains with rare and medium vegetation.
It has stiff levers on rotational axis with claws made
of especially hard steel resistant to detonations and
rock blows.
Segmented Roller Tool - Segmented Roller is an
exchangeable tool highly suitable for mine clearance
of roads, paths clearance activities and area proofi ng,
providing less disturbance to soil. It operates by
pressure and rotation of its 10 to 12 independent
rollers weighting 160 kg each, activating buried AP
mines and UXO-s.
Dozer Blade Tool - Dozer Blade enables the MV-4
to work on soil containing explosives thus being
suitable for removal of dangerous road blocks. The
other functions are connected to regular construction
works which makes it a multifunctional system.
Gripper Tool - Gripper is suitable for moving
obstacles such as vehicles, fuel drums and UXO-s.
It can also penetrate walls or buildings and cut barb
wire. Its gripping pliers rotate 360° both ways, have a
spread of 1,6 m and can lift up to 2 tons of load.
Rear Forklift - The attachment is a rear exchangeable
tool used for lifting objects, and it is usually added
to the MV-4 system upon a special request from the
client. The tool can lift weight up to 1200 kg, and can
extend arms up to 1,4 m in the air.
Rear Shovel - The attachment is a rear exchangeable
tool used for pushing, unloading and grabbing
objects. The shovel is mounted on the arms of the
rear forklift, so it can be raised up to 1,4 m.
Robotic Arm - The attachement is a rear exchangeable
tool used for lifting objects and it is usually added
to the MV-4 system upon a special request from the
client. Toll with 360 degrees rotation and maximum
reach from swing point of 5,4 m can lift weight up to
400 kg.
The MV-4 is today one of the
best world renowned robotic
demining system. Robust
low-profi le structure makes it
explosion proof to AP mines and
UXO-s, featuring exceptional
maneuverability and safety
since it can be operated from a
distance of up to 1500 m.
4. MV-4 at glance
APPROVED IN
ALL CONDITIONS
The MV-4 robotic demining system has been designed
and developed to operate smoothly in all conditions
satisfying the highest requirements of safety, effi ciency
and cost-effectiveness. It is explosion proof to all AP
mines and UXO-s with similar explosion intensity, and
to certain extent to AT mine detonations.
FLAIL TOOL ATTACHMENT
• Standard tool - 34 chains with hammers
• Rotation of up to 900 revolutions per minute
• Dig, activate or mechanically destroy mines burried up to 0,32 m

5. EXCELLENT
MANOUVERABILITY
Being relatively light and of small size, the MV-4
can clear various structures, when moving
either in parallel or perpetual direction. Low
center of gravity and powerful engine enables
it to work on steep slopes managing up to 45°
uphill and downhill. It is designed to negotiate
solid obstacles of 0,8 m high, cross ditches
and canals up to 1,2 meters wide and work in
swamps up to 0,45 m deep. The system can
autonomously free itself when stuck by lifting
and pushing hydraulic hands which can be
extended, lifted or lowered.

6. TRAINING & WORLDWIDE
POST SALE SUPPORT
The vast experience in landmine clearance of
various terrain types enables DOK-ING to provide an
expert and focused training. The standard training
course lasts two weeks and it includes operators,
mechanics and electricians, and it can be organized
either in Croatia or at client’s preferred location. The
course includes theoretical part, practical work in
the mechanical workshop on the MV-4 machine and
numerous exercises in driving and clearing mode.
Thus the training course ensures full competence
and independence of future MV-4 end-users to
operate and service the robotic systems in all terrains
and weather conditions.
06 / DOK-ING MV-4
The MV-4 system requires minimum maintenance
efforts. The recommended preventive maintenance
on a daily basis and required service after every 200
working hours guarantees that the MV-4 will function
in all conditions for many years even in case of the
most intensive use. The engine, hydraulics and
all subcomponents of the MV-4 are produced by
Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) providing
an additional insurance. Post Sale service has been
a part of our daily business - DOK-ING provides
technical consulting, sales and worldwide distribution
of OEM parts on demand.
7. EASY TRANSPORT
Due to its relatively small size, the MV-4 can be
easily moved by different means of transportation.
A standard 20 feet container is ideal for deliveries
by sea, but it can also be airlifted by various types
of fi xed wing aircrafts intended for the transport of
vehicles. For a quick sling load by helicopter, the MV-4
is fi tted with 4-eye hook lifting points.
The most frequent mode of transport is by trucks
or trailers. Thanks to its precision power and steep
climbing ability it can be loaded on any truck in a few
minutes. Being a light-category mine clearing system,
the MV-4 can be easily transported on a small trailer
behind an 4WD or any light weight
off-road vehicle.
Once on a location, the MV-4 is ready to be used in a
couple of minutes. It requires no special preparation
activities or additional personnel.
