2. • The IT Support Specialist I serves as the primary expert for troubleshooting software and
hardware issues related to RecTrac, Micros, GEN and future software platforms for the
Department. This includes first-tier troubleshooting of registration software, network, Citrix and
OS issues; along with second-tier diagnostic of firmware, hardware, replacement of equipment and
talking staff through a series of actions either over the phone or face-to-face.
• The position acts as one of the managers responsible for purchasing, delivering, installing,
managing and cataloging the operations of all peripheral hardware and equipment that is used at
Department sites. The IT Support Specialist will be required to work under general direction with
