Between 2006 and 2015, I work as a Chief Estimator under Daco-Tech Services inc.
for Charmac Construction Ltd, a Major General Contractor from Fredericton, N.B..
During that period I estimate 468 projects for a total value of 203 million dollars.
Type of work: Subdivision, Water & Sewer Projects, Mass Excavation and Site
Preparation, Road Construction, Wastewater Treatment plants & demolition work.
Between 2000 and 2006, I developed an estimating software call Daco-Tech
Estimator and sold it through the maritime’s and the province of Quebec. I also begin
estimating construction projects for different contractors
Between 1980 and 2000, I was Vice-President and part owner of the companies
Gionet Construction Ltd and Condor Construction Ltd under which I gain
most of my field experience in the construction business.
BACKGROUND:
- Large background in: project cost estimating, quantity take off, project scheduling,
project management, supervision and field surveying.
- Trained and experienced in multiple computer software’s like Excel and Earth
Works Pro by Trakware which is one of the best software for quantity take off. It
shows detailed quantities, cross section, 3D plan of the site etc.
- Diversified construction experience as Project Chief Estimator, Construction Project
Manager, Construction Superintendent, and Chief Construction Surveyor on
Industrial, Commercial and Municipal construction projects including sites
preparation, concrete foundations, building constructions, road and highway
constructions, Subdivision development, demolition work, marine work including
wharf dredging and containment dykes and municipal projects including water and
sewer piping and sewage treatment facilities.
