an ISO 2000 type quality control manual and wrote procedures for various functions that
needed to be performed within the company. Performed inspections of incoming material
for both dimensional and material integrity. Wrote the Corrective Action Reports for non
conforming material and worked with the vendor on corrective actions.
Stonelocator, Inc., Falls Church VA: Sales / Project Management, sold a granite
countertop project for a Crowe Plaza Hotel in Portland, OR. Project consisted of 8,700
SF of granite vanity tops. Performed the original takes offs from the Architectural Prints.
Put together all of the cost for the project for final pricing. Traveled to China to perform
visual and dimensional inspection before the material was to be shipped to the US. Other
projects sold included condominiums in NYC.
Federal Carbide Company, Tyrone PA: Sales, of Tungsten Carbide die and wear parts.
Developed an eight state territory. and increased sales by a total of 500% over seven
years.
Florida Valve and Fitting Co., Orlando FL: Sales, valves and tube fittings
(instrumentation) for general industry, electronics and aerospace industries. Responsible
for a 300% sales increase in an assigned territory over a three year period. Achieved a
valve specification for the payload transporter (crawler) at the Kennedy Space Center.
Developed a valve and fitting specification for Disneyland, Tokyo, Japan.
