I am currently a full time Broadcast Engineer with Raycom Media. I work in Toledo at the local CBS affiliate WTOL 11. The
station is also the local Fox affiliate WUPW. I began my time here as a production assistant and quickly moved into the
Engineering department. I began here while completing my last semester at The University of Toledo. While my time in
television is relatively young, live production is something that I have been more than familiar with since junior high.
Through junior high and high school I learned to be part of the technical team which would prepare the stage, run audio
and prepare for any performance the school was hosting. Post high school was the same I learned even more of my love for
backstage work and live performances.
My time in Toledo has been great and I feel that I have learned so much through this station that would greatly benefit me
in the industry and in a larger market. Several events have transpired at the station, which has helped me grow into a
strong engineer that is capable of problem solving and stepping up whenever needed. I love working in television and feel
that this opportunity would greatly expand my knowledge of television and I would be a very valuable asset to the
company.
