(1,2,3,4) A great activity to fulfill this standard is to have students work in pairs during holiday season and observe community festivities and performers(i.e. Halloween fairs, Christmas Festivals, etc.), and with the use of PowerPoint, Word, and online sources, create a story of their own to present to the class. For Extra Credit, Students can choose to present their stories through the arts, such as creating a mini play, singing their story to the class, or reciting it in poem format.
