Context The University Foundation for Development Cooperation (USOS) wants to inform
students about the important issue of sustainable agriculture in North & South.
Join us to involve more students in the North-South thematic, by promoting this theme with the
design of a campaign and –foremost! - of a physical, interactive, surprising and educational
market artifact (a mobile sales or exposition stand, a sustainable eye catcher, a mobile eco
chicken & grasshopper run?) to promote sustainable products coming from sustainable
agriculture and commerce

Project 2 – Showstopper & campaign for sustainable agriculture & commerce
Goal? Design and build a showstopper and campaign to promote sustainable agriculture & commerce on an interactive
student oriented market with the focus on participation and awareness raising.
Where? At the city campus of the University of Antwerp (market place)
in close collaboration with the University Foundation for Development Cooperation (www.usos.be) and possible interested
companies/organizations.
Who? Students with a for sustainable development, international cooperation with partners in the South & North
(India, Congo, Nicaragua, Morocco,…) & making the message tangible in (a) 3 D products with a study background in
• Engineering & product development (to materialize the artifact)
• Agriculture/North-South /development cooperation studies
• Teacher training (for the educative part towards students)
• Social work (awareness rising)
• Multimedia
• Business and technology
• Marketing and product placement
• Food industry
