3. Vedic Mathematics is the name given to the ancient
system to the mathematics which was rediscovered
from the Vedas between 1911 and 1918 by Sri Bharti
Krishna Tirathji .According to his research all of
mathematics is based on sixteen sutras or word
formulae. For example “vertically and crosswise” is
one these sutras. These formulae describe the way the
mind naturally works and are therefore a great help in
directing the student to the appropriate method of
solution Vedic mathematics has been created after
some interesting feedback from folks.
4. Vedic mathematics is the form of
mathematics that has been there in India
from pre-historic time. Many saints and
other (including shankaracharyas) have
contributed to this amazing mathematical
idea which is basically a large set of
algorithms, so to speak, for simple and
complex competition. There may be more
than that in Vedic mathematics, I am no voice in
the field these simple techniques is just one
proof to show how much people have used
their brain when there were no pencil and
paper (and of course calculator). No wonder
great epics and other things have stood for
centuries.
5. In the Vedic system difficult problems or huge
sums can often be solved immediately by the
Vedic method these striking and beautiful
methods are just a part of a complete system
of mathematics which is far more systematic
then the modern system. Vedic mathematics
manifests the coherent and unified structure
of the mathematics and the methods are
complimentary, direct and easy .
6. Vedic Math was Discovered By Sri
Bharti Krishna Tirthaji (1884-1960)
7. WHY IS IT CALLED ‘VEDIC’?
• ‘Vedic’comes from Vedas which means the fountainhead
of all knowledge.
•Also because the sources of the Sutras were found in
Ancient Vedic Texts
•According to the Supreme Court of India, Vedic means
‘time factor’
• Vedic Maths is secular, which means anyone from any
where in the world can practice it and take advantage of its
results.
8. The Advantages of Vedic mathematics
are :-
It helps a persons to solve problem 10-15 times faster.
It reduces burden(need to learn tables up to nine only)
It provide one line answer
It is a magical tool to reduce scratch work and finger
counting.
It increases concentration.
Time saved can be used to answer more questions
Improve concentrations.
Logical thinking process gets enhanched .
12. Comparison Between Modern Methods
And Vedic Math's Methods in
‘Squaring of numbers ending in 5’.
Modern Methods Vedic Methods
65 X 65
6 5
X 6 5
3 2 5
3 9 0 X
4 2 2 5
65 X 65 = 4225
( 'multiply the previous digit 6
by one more than itself 7.
Than write 25 )
15. But the real beauty and effectiveness of
Vedic mathematics cannot be fully
appreciated without actually practicing
the system. One can then see that it is
perhaps the most refined and efficient
mathematical system possible interest in
Vedic math’s is growing in the field of
educations where math’s teachers are
looking for a new and better approach to
the subject.
16. Now a day’s in schools are also
teaching Vedic math’s with notable
success. Today this remarkable system
is taught in many school and institutes
in India and abroad and even to MBA
and economic student researches are
being undertaken in many areas,
including the effects of learning Vedic
math’s on children.
17. Pupils can come out of the
confinement of the only one current
way and make their own methods
under the Vedic system. Thus, it can
introduce creativity in intelligent
pupils. While helping slow-learners
grasp , the basic concept of
mathematics a wider use of Vedic
maths can undoubtedly generate
interest in a subject.
18. That is generally dreaded by
children and at last I would like to
advise all my friend that we should
learn Vedic mathematics and
ofcourse we should use in our day
to day life, this will help us all in
fast computations.
