Develop the Safety Management System
Develop induction for depots and implement the delivery of both inductions and Manual
Handling training for all staff including agency, security guards, Pest control, Maintenance
and cleaning contractors.

Conduct high level risk assessments for all depots and implement immediate actions to
enable compliance and develop improvement plan, allocating actions including realistic
timescales.
Chair Health and Safety committee meetings, Write up agenda points and distribute to all
staff notice boards and senior management.
Develop accident reporting process to enable the accurate recording of all accidents, near
miss reports and safety alerts. Create data base to enable the recording of statistics to
establish any areas of concern.
