Peter is an OH&S professional with skills
rarely encountered and frequently
admired. He came to Ezyquip with
extensive experience in the safety sector
and a history of safety related encounters;
driving his passion for safe operations.
He has worked in a range of safety
management roles for a variety of large
companies including Origin Energy and
civil/hire industries. During this time he
has developed strong skills and
knowledge in writing workplace health
and safety policies for legislative
requirements. Peter’s aim on every
project is to stay ten steps ahead of any
potential safety risk. It’s this approach
that makes him such a valuable addition
to any project team.
Peter likes to take a hands-on approach to
his role, regularly visiting sites and ensuring
that safety behaviour is upheld and that all
safety strategies developed are met. A strong
communicator, he ensures that he actively
collaborates with his safety team, allowing
Ezyquip to maintain a high level of safety
both on site and in our offices.

Peter has the primary objective of establishing, implementing and driving the delivery of all of Ezyquips
safety systems, practices and policies in accordance with our daily missions of ‘no injury to anyone’, ‘no
rework or error’ and ‘no harm to the environment’. His role is to establish, develop and lead a team that
provides advice, support and expertise in a timely, relevant and accurate manner to enable the
achievement of Ezyquips strategic and operational objectives.
Peter is also responsible for coaching safety team members to work collectively and to maximise their
full potential to ensure the implementation of workplace health and safety practices across all sites is
systematic, comprehensive and uniform. Through positive influence, knowledge and mediation, Peter
works collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure an effective safety culture is achieved.
