Maintained the 1.6 million+ volume main campus library collection. This included complex shifting
of the collection between floors of Lauinger library. This further entailed the organization and
maintenance of certain “special” university libraries, such as the Riggs Memorial Library.
Successfully implemented a campus-wide paging and delivery service of library materials for
faculty, staff and students. This was a major project and undertaking that involved reaching across
the campus community to build relationships in order to successfully provide the highest level of
library services to students, faculty, and staff patrons.
3. Served as Stacks liaison between the Georgetown Libraries and the Washington Research Libraries
Consortium (WRLC). This involved complex ordering, scheduling, and delivery coordination
between GU, the WRLC, and participating Institutions.
Served on various library committees, such as the library signage committee, and many different
hiring and award-granting committees.
Managed the circulation desk and student employees 15 hours/week, including the management of
the circulation hold shelf, which included hundreds of items.
Successfully completed the GU professional managers certificate program. This not only enhanced
my management skills, but also brought to my attention the many different, intricate human
resources professional policies and legal responsibilities to employees.
