Greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect describes how natural gases in the earth’s atmosphere
reduce the amount of heat escaping from the earth into the atmosphere. The
more of these gases there are, the more the earth heats up.
The gases which cause greenhouse effect are called greenhouse gases. Major

the greenhouse gases. It absorbs long wave length infrared rays and re-radiate it
to the earth itself.

It is the major gas capturing infrared radiation from the earth’s surface and
subsequently warming the troposphere.

CFCs is a harmful gas that depletes the ozone layer and cause green house
effect. Each CFC molecule can trap as much as heat as 100000 CO2 molecule
