3. Introduction
My name is Pravin Shinde, and I had the opportunity to undergo an inplant
training program in the production and operation management department
of a renowned tire industry. This report aims to provide a concise overview

The tire industry is an integral part of the automotive sector, manufacturing
and supplying tires for different types of vehicles. The production and
operation management department plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient
and effective tire production processes, maintaining quality standards,
managing inventory, and optimizing supply chain operations.
Throughout the inplant training program, I had the opportunity to gain hands-
on experience in various aspects of production and operation management.
This included observing and participating in the tire production processes
from raw material procurement to the final testing phase. I also had the
chance to understand the importance of quality control measures and
witness their implementation in the production department.
