Testimonial for Mr. QUEK Wei Zhen Gabriel (ID: ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠S9537658D)
Gabriel has been my student since February 2016. He sat for the Transport and Freight
Management Module which is part of the Bachelor’s in Business Degree (Major in Logistics &
Supply Chain) awarded by RMIT University and achieved a High Distinction for this Module.
In terms of academic standing, he would belong to the top 15% of all students in his cohort.
Gabriel is a high energy, enthusiastic learner and one of the most diligent students in my class.
He was observed to be able to manage his time well when pursing multiple modules by
completing all his assignments and projects on time. He worked well with team mates in the
group projects demonstrating his ability to blend well in a community. He is also a team player
by injecting many fresh ideas during the project group discussions. His attendance in class
had been excellent. I observed that his academic abilities were outstanding in the cohort. To
date, he has already achieved one High Distinction and two Distinctions. His commitment to
attaining his academic goals is impressive.
As an undergraduate student, Gabriel is very entrepreneurial - successfully ventured into the
FOREX market through self-learning. His leadership abilities are also evident as he won the
tennis ladder competition as the captain of his team. He is also very serious in his work. When
he was serving as a National Service Full-time Policeman, he was awarded for two effective
arrests in illegal money lending and bookmaking.
Gabriel brings to the table a strong intellectual capability and broad understanding of Logistics
and Supply Chain issues. Gabriel is a highly motivated, competitive and participative
individual. He will diligently spend personal time verifying the concepts and theories that are
taught in class.
Therefore, I am confident that Gabriel will excel in all his future educational pursuits, and
career. He has good potential to do well in any post-graduate or Master Degree level of
academic studies. I am sure Gabriel will also be able to make significant contributions to any
company or project that he undertakes in the future.
