2. How Epiplex works
Capture
The Subject Matter Expert (SME) /Process Expert (PE) can record process scenarios step
by step on the live application using Capture engine. The SME/PE can review the captured
processes and edit as necessary. The Process editor also has capabilities to mask
confidential information. Epiplex Capture has an inbuilt OMNI adaptor to seemlessly
record processes from CITRIX and Virtual Desktops as well.
Content Development
Content Development component allows to review, edit and publish unlimited Documents
(WORD, PPT, PDF, Excel, HTML and XML) Simulations (HTML5), Workflows, SCORM
Compliant eLearning, Assessments and Cue Cards in 30 languages.
Content Development allows to embellish the content captured data with additional
call-outs, voice instructions, etc. Multiple knowledge interventions can be generated from
the same captured file via simulations which help end users to learn the process in a
simulated environment, Work instructions- which can be deployed in live production
environment and guides an end user to complete the transaction with greater efficiency
and SOPs- which create up-to date documentation on the process.
Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS)
ECMS enables project managers to create various courses and map eLearning content and
assign the courses to specific roles/user groups. The end users can view the assigned
course material (documents/simulations/process models/quizzes), practice and complete
the training from their desk. The details of content usage, including the scores of the
simulated tests are available for the managers, enabling them to manage the schedule
effectively.
