I have been teaching GRE/GMAT math for 8 years and have trained over 3,000 students, many of whom have scored over 760 on the GRE math section and 51 on the GMAT math section. My strategy is to understand the types of questions that commonly appear on the exams and the fundamentals and techniques needed to solve them within the time constraints, rather than focusing on mastering mathematics. I start training by having students take a diagnostic test to identify weak topics to focus on. My question bank covers topics that are relevant to the exams. To score well requires mastering techniques for solving questions quickly rather than being a mathematics master. Key topics like inequalities, number systems, word problems and geometry make up a large
