-Ing adjectives :
Describe a situation, a person or thing.
Are translated: ES/SON into Spanish.
The book is interestING = ES interesante.
-Ed adjectives:
Describe how people feel.
Are translated: ESTÁ/ESTÁN into Spanish.
The boy is interestED= ESTÁ interesado.
