Note From Casio
The onset of 2020 marked drastic transformation in the way world was. Human civilization was challenged by global
crises, where resilience, cooperation and technology demanded integration in daily lifecycle. This meant a purpose
for Casio as a company where we realized that our commitments needs to penetrate deep down the social structures
soastostrengthencommunities.
One such initiative which Casio has been undertaking for past six years is “Keyboard Music School Education
Programme” which was started with a vision to establish music as a career skill among the students which lack life
skillsopportunitieswithintheirsociety.
With time the project has gathered a new meaning where music is seen as a source of expression for children
representingdiversityintermsoftheirorigin, behaviourandlifepractices.
The year 2021 for the project meant re-initiation of the objective after the pandemic and with this hope 40 schools
acrossDelhi&NCRwerecovered.

Keyboard Music School Education Programme 2021 12
Casio India is supporting keyboard music classes among the underprivileged of Delhi and NCR, who in their daily
lives are lacking opportunities to work and excel in their overall development. The classes with the purpose to
invest on skill enhancement training, which is largely lacking within the Indian Education System is primarily
working with those communities and school infrastructure that require additional support. Post the COVID
implicationstheprojectwasreinitiatedin40schoolswithGlobalHuntFoundation astheimplementationpartner.

promotion of online classes has limited the access of
