Official Cook-off Rules:
1) Your competition chili must be prepared, ready-to-eat (warm) and delivered to staging area on 6th floor
in a crock-pot no later than 10am (we will have plenty of outlets on hand). Please prepare at least 6 quarts of chili.
2) Seasoned for Sharing will supply bowls, utensils and napkins. You are encouraged to present your chili
in a creative way and bring any garnishes that you would normally serve.
3) Each chili will be judged on it's own merit in one of 4 categories: Traditional, Non-traditional, Spicy, &
Non-chili** (non-chili items can be baked goods, soup or stew other than chili, etc).
4) Chili will be rated by celebrity judges on the following characteristics:
1. Texture

2. Aroma / Flavor

3. Presentation

4. Spiciness

5) Chili will be ready for public voting only after samples are prepared for the judges.
6) The Peoples Choice Award is determined by the public. The public will purchase chili and cast their votes.
It is up to you to entice them to try your chili and cast their vote for you.
7) Chili can consist of any kind of meat, beans, vegetables or combination thereof; If you call it chili, we will
call it chili. You must be willing to eat your own chili.
8) All proceeds from the Seasoned for Sharing Chili Cook-off will go to Season for Sharing.
**Non-chili items will not be eligible for the Grand Prize
