and Polyolefin Shrink Films in the world.
Mr. Madhusudan Bagla, a visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist, pioneered
self-adhesive water based Carton Sealing Tape manufacturing in India when he set up
Hindustan Adhesives Limited in 1988.


Bagla Group, an Indian-based business conglomerate; is a world leader in manufacturing and

HAL has created a vertically integrated manufacturing facility which includes the production
of BOPP Film, Adhesive, Paper Core and Boxes along with fully automated coating, printing,
slitting and packing machine from Italy. This is a distinctive competence of the company and
ensures that there is full control of every single step of production. Due to this level of in-house
integration and technology, HAL has achieved market leadership, performance consistency, and

5. Tear Tape is a tensilized polypropylene tear tape engineered with an acrylic adhesive system.
This high tensile tear tape offers good initial tack, excellent shear resistance, and strong ultimate
adhesion. Available in a variety of lengths and widths for application flexibility. It is used for
detergent and consumer cartons, padded shipping envelopes, express delivery, and courier envelopes
and medium to heavy-weight corrugated cartons

medium weight carton sealing in manual and automatic
industrial sealing applications. BOPP film backing and
high-quality adhesive engineered to deliver clarity, UV

low noise tape. These tapes do not produce any unpleasant noise
at the time of unwinding and use. With our proprietary glue and a
special film, we are able to offer superior performance, clean
optics, and a consistent low noise product. So get rid of the noise!

High Shear and Adhesion

and promote your precious brand? HAL offers a highly
advanced printable tape that features superior ink anchorage
without any ink transfer. It is designed for faster drying times to
ensure you can run your flexographic machines at full speed.
It has been tested on L33, L36 and L233 (or equivalent) flexographic
printing presses to run at maximum speed.
Printable Eco - This is our standard Printable Tape which is used by printers who are doing
a primer on the top surface before printing and then a release coat. It offers excellent ink
bondage and ensures there is no transfer of ink or glue on the wrong side.
Printable LN - This is our Low Noise Printable Tape which is used by printers who are
doing corona treatment before printing. The special film ensures that there is no transfer
of adhesive on the opposite side due to the corona treatment.
Printable Plus - This is a specially designed printable tape with an exclusive release coat
technology on the top surface. This tape can be printed directly on the surface without the
need for additional corona treatment, similar to PVC Solvent and Hot Melt Tape. Hence,
our printing partners can use the same machine they use to print PVC Solvent and Hot Melt
Tapes without any problem or the need for the corona treatment system.

temperatures, we have developed Freezer Tape which can
withstand up to - 20-degree Celsius. The adhesion and shear
of this tape are developed to maintain its performance at colder
temperatures. So this means when you want to close boxes and
put them in cold storage or freezer, you can be assured that the
tape will not fail and will keep the boxes safe.

Our specially developed Water Based Hot Melt Acrylic Tape is
the perfect replacement for the high-cost Synthetic Rubber Based
Hot Melt Tape. Just like synthetic rubber, our Hot Melt Acrylic
has high initial tack and most importantly, does not leave any
residue on the rollers of automatic taping heads. This means your
customers can run this product 24 hours a day without any downtime.
Using a high technology modified Rohm and Haas glue, we are amongst the
very few companies in the world to be able to guarantee the performance of Hot
Melt in an Acrylic Tape. Moreover, the tape can be made to look exactly like
the Hot Melt product with a slight yellow tinge to it.

14. Polyolefin Shrink Film
Cross Linking Technology

POLYOLEFIN SHRINK FILMS
Polyolefin Shrink Film is an extremely durable and versatile 'premium' shrink film. It has taken the
place of PVC in many applications and is also an FDA-approved food-safe material. Polyolefin
materials are available with different characteristics, including a cross-linked film that provides
high-tensile strength and incredible clarity for high-speed packaging applications. The cross-linked
film also prevents buildup on sealing components of machinery.
The innovative technique of cross-linking’ yields highly
durable and versatile Shrink Films due to the permanent and stable
bonds created between the polymer chains ensuring complete protection of the various products.
