Divisibility Test Example
2 A number is divisible by 2 if
the last digit is 0, 2, 4, 6, 8
(even number)
E.g. 168 is Divisible by 2 since the
last digit is 8
3 A number is divisible by 3 if
the sum of the digits is
divisible by 3.
E.g. 168 is divisible by 3 since 1 + 6
+ 8 = 15 and 15 is divisible by 3
5 A number is divisible by 5 if
the last number is either 0 or 5
E.g. 195 is divisible by 5 since the
last digit is 5
10 A number is divisible by 10 if
the last digit is 0
E.g. 1470 is divisible by 10 since the
last digit is 0
