Responsible for designing, implementing and operating IP Network. Team lead for 2 years supervising
operational activities of team members.
Design and implement Network switches solutions (VLAN, VTP, Port-Channeling, Spanning Tree
Protocol)
Implement Network VPN Technologies including IPsec (Remote Site and Site to Site), MPLS VPNs
(L2-L3 VPNs), SSL VPNs (WebVPN)
Implement IP solutions including VRRP, GLBP, HSRP, QoS, Inter-Vlan Routing and Frame-Relay
Troubleshoot and test network connectivity issues
Communicate efficiently with all project stakeholders
Translate business requirements into suitable network solutions
Document standards and procedures, network implementation plans and network diagrams
using tools such as Microsoft Visio
Prioritize and schedule network downtime for equipment maintenance
Adhere to Incident management and change management procedures
Provide rotational 24x7 on-call support
Responsible for the asset management process through the entire lifecycle from initial
acquisition to decommissioning for network devices and OPEX software licenses
Achievements:
Lead a successful implementation of new network solutions that were crucial for the company to
obtain the PCI-DSS certification
Held a key role in the successful migration of legacy IP network services with static routes to a new
Multi Services Internal Network using MPLS, Rip v2, IS-IS, OSPF and BGP
Held a key role in the implementation of the IP MPLS core network for SDH/PDH management
devices
As IP Network team leader I directly supervised operational functions of the team
Lead a successful integration of 3 external Call Centers to the IP MPLS Network for inbound and
outbound calls using SIP protocol with Cisco CUBE
Held a key role integrating Cisco CUBE with Ericsson MSS for inbound/outbound calls using SIP
protocol
Integrated successfully Ericsson BSC Lan Switches to IP Network for OSS and management
Successfully integrated over 15 remote site offices to the IP MPLS core using several network
technologies including BGP, IS-IS, OSPF and MPLS
Successfully implemented phase 1 of the NGN integration to IP Network
