(www.pinpointbps.com) combines dynamic modelling techniques
with our extensive laboratory experience to deliver a state-of-
the-art performance improvement service. PinpointBPS® is
competitively priced and designed for rapid development to
ensure you achieve better results, quicker.
Using PinpointBPS®, we realise a significant return on investment
while minimising the time delay normally associated with process
modelling and analysis.
To deliver the outputs required, we follow these process steps:
• Model development and validation: We map all existing
processes across all laboratories, including collection, demand
and production data. On completion, your current performance
statistics will be used to validate all models and provide you
with the confidence that future state models will provide an
accurate result.
• Scenario definition: We work with you to understand the
various service configuration options and, based on our
own knowledge of pathology services, also advise on potential
alternatives that might deliver value. Models will then be
adjusted to account for changes in demand and/or capacity
before being run to provide detailed performance predictions.
• Consulting support: Depending on your needs, we can also
support in the financial, infrastructure and change management
aspects of the project.
• Performance tracking: Throughout the service contract, we
willl update the PinpointBPS® models and advise on the impact
of expected changes, as well as actual vs. target performance.
This ensures that the value of change is realised in the shortest
possible time.
• Knowledge transfer: We are dedicated to empowering our
clients. We empower your internal experts to use the tools
to make better decisions and continuously improve
