perienced ex-Governor, Shri
Satya Pal Malik perhaps did not
see through what Karan Thapar
was getting at. He was provok-
ing Shri Malik on Pulwama. He,
in my judgement should have
been much more cautious in his
responses on Kashmir, which I
believe is still on the agenda of
the UN Security Council. Shri
Malik, whom I know well could
have been more cautious. Kash-
mir is too delicate an issue at the
best of times.
Since Shri Malik is not an un-
known person, his words and
observations carry some
weight. If I am not mistaken Pa-
kistan welcomed some of the
former governor’s off the cuff
answers. Some of these might
have reached anti India ele-
ments at the UN.
To my utter surprise Shri Ma-
lik had a dig at the Prime Minis-
ter too. The Prime Minister
made him governor, not of one
or two but of four states. The
Modi government has done well
to ignore the ex-governor’s not
so gentle recklessness.

Confident of BJP win: Amit Shah
Home Minister also says Rahul Gandhi should not play ‘victim’ after disrespecting OBCs
KARNATAKA ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS
Bengaluru (PTI):
Home Minister Amit
Shah expressed confi-
dence on Saturday that
the BJP will win 15-20
seats more than the
halfway mark in Karna-
taka assembly polls and
asserted that its sup-
port base remains in-

some party leaders, not-
ing that historically its
rebels have not won and
“this will prove true
this time also”.
With the Congress
targeting the central
government over Rahul
Gandhi’s disqualifica-
tion from Lok Sabha
following his convic-

an interview said that
“no family is above the
law in India and the law

Replying to a ques-

“victim”, he said, “We
never asked Rahul Gan-
dhi to disrespect the
OBC community. He
himself decided not to
apologise.
“Thelawunderwhich
he was convicted was
made by the Congress
government. Then
prime minister Manmo-

draw that law but Rahul

down the ordinance.

ANI, the Congress chief said, “Definitely. Have you seen
any dissidents after announcing the tickets, like in BJP?
In BJP, an exodus to other parties is going on. It means
that the greater dissatisfaction is in BJP, not Congress.”
Kharge said that the people of Karnataka are fed up
because the BJP government in the state encouraged
corruption in the past 5 years of their rule. “People are
fed up because in these 5 years whatever the BJP Govt
did, more or less they encouraged corruption”, he said.

FIRST INDIA SUNDAY SPECIAL

The popularity of Yogi
Adityanath, who
took the initiative to
end the mafia rule from
Uttar Pradesh, is on the
seventh heaven these
days, especially since
the dreaded criminal of
the state Atiq Ahmed
has been eliminated.
If sources are to be
believed, in recent days,
Yogi has received an
important message from
the BJP top leadership
that ‘he is going to play
an important role in the
2024 general elections.’
He will also have a big
responsibility to bear the
expenses of the party.
In fact, in the ‘Global
Investor Summit’ organ-
ized by Yogi in Lucknow
recently, an investment
of Rs 32.92 lakh crore
has been promised and a
record number of 18,643
MoUs were signed.
Earlier, in the ‘Global In-
vestor Summit’, Gujarat
used to be at the number
one position. When
Narendra Modi was the
CM of Gujarat, there was
an investment of about
15 lakh crore rupees,
which was a record. Now
Yogi has planned to set
up a new industrial city
on the lines of Noida at
Shandila near Hardoi,
which is only two and
a half hours away from
Lucknow airport.
Sharad Pawar is an expert player of poli-
tics, but if ever he starts scoring goals
in his own post, then understand that he
has changed his allegiance. His eagerness
to change faces has been clearly visible
from his politics till now. So, when he
has a closed-door meeting with Gautam
Adani for about two hours, he assumes
the posture of rejecting the JPC’s demand
on the Adani episode. If sources are to
be believed, he has had long conversa-
tions with the BJP top brass too. There
are murmurs in the political circles
that Pawar has a secret agree-
ment with the BJP that Sharad
Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule
can become a minister at the
center and his Nephew Ajit Pawar
may be the new Chief Minister
of Maharashtra in place of
Shinde. But Ajit Pawar
started appearing in a different color. He
removed the symbol of NCP from his Twit-
ter handle and speculations started that
now the time has come for him to bloom.
In fact, 16 MLAs of Eknath Shinde faction
are still facing the threat of disqualifica-
tion. This case is still pending in the court,
so if these 16 MLAs of Shinde faction are
disqualified by the court, then the Shinde
government will come in minority, so
BJP has placed a bet on Ajit Pawar under
its backup plan. But it is famous about
Sharad Pawar that he has expertise
in playing two and a half moves on
political chess. So he has tied his
strings with the Congress as well.
He wanted to come to Delhi and
meet Rahul at 10 Janpath but Rahul
asked him, “Why not have
this meeting at Kharge’s
residence.”
In the famous Umesh Pal murder case, in a CCTV foot-
age, notorious Atiq’s follower Guddu Muslim is seen
throwing a bomb. While most of the accused have been
killed by the UP STF, but the whereabouts of Guddu
Muslim are still not known. But there is also a myth
associated with Guddu that ‘whoever he is with, gets
killed’. It is said that he has an old habit that he either
kills the said person himself or gets him killed by being
an informer. When he was with Satyendra Singh Langad,
he got him killed him with the help of Santosh Singh.
Then Santosh Singh was killed by Bahubali Dhananjay
Singh on Guddu’s information. It is said that then this
person started making bombs for Mukhtar Ansari,
but when Mukhtar went to jail, he joined Atiq Ahmed.
Sources also claim that UP Police and STF killed Atiq’s
son Asad and his accomplice Ghulam in an encounter in
Jhansi on the basis of information received from Guddu
Muslim. Atiq’s brother Ashraf wanted to tell the media
persons before his death - ‘Main baat hai ki Guddu
Muslim...’, however, he was killed before he could finish
his sentence. It is being said about Guddu Muslim, who
has a prize of 5 lakhs, that these days he has become
the biggest informer of UP STF.
The alliance between
the Congress and the
Left parties got a new
face in the Tripura
elections, gas the
results of the alliance
were also encouraging.
So, the same pattern
was repeated in Manipur
also. Now intense
brainstorming is going
on in the Congress
as to why not in the
2024 general elections,
following the same
pattern i.e. by forging
an alliance with the Left
parties, the Congress
should together present
a challenge to Mamata
and the BJP in West
Bengal.
The coming days may be difficult for Nitish Kumar,
who is working tirelessly day and night in the
initiative of opposition unity. Ever since he broke the
alliance with BJP and formed government with Lalu’s
party, the Center is constantly eye-
ing Nitish. ED and CBI are continu-
ously questioning RJD President
and State Deputy CM Tejashwi Ya-
dav and the sword of arrest is also
hanging on them. So, CBI is con-
tinuously increasing its resources
for the complete siege of Nitish and
Tejashwi. If reliable sources are to
be believed, in recent days, CBI has
taken more than 100 houses on lease in Patna, that
means more and more CBI people are in Patna, and
this aspect is also like an alarm bell for Nitish!
Recently, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met
Prime Minister Modi and shared his mind. Earlier,
there were indications that Rajnath would not contest
the 2024 elections as he would be 73 by next year, but
it is said that Rajnath has expressed
his wish to the PM that ‘he wants
to contest the Lok Sabha election of
2024 from Lucknow seat only, i.e.
the same seat and this will be his last
election. In fact, Rajnath’s younger
son Neeraj Singh, who oversees the
entire work of the Lucknow parlia-
mentary constituency, is keen to enter
active politics. Neeraj is associated
with BJP since 2000. Rajnath’s elder son Pankaj Singh,
who is BJP’s MLA from Noida as well as the party’s
state vice-president, has actually set his sights on the
Lucknow parliamentary seat. So the biggest challenge
before Rajnath is how he can manage both his son and
provide a a new sky to their political ambitions.
In what couldbe termed as a major develop-
ment in the Sanjivani Credit Society episode, the
Madhya Pradesh government has recommended a
CBI inquiry into the matter. There are some victims
from MP who had lodged an FIR
against the society, whereas in
Rajasthan, union minister Gajendra
Singh Shekhawat was also seeking
the same and filed a petition in
Jodhpur High Court regarding the
same. Now the road has become
easier with the decision of Madhya
Pradesh government and sooner or
later the investigation will go out of
the hands of Rajasthan SOG and go to CBI, and this
could have far-reaching political consequences.

It is being murmured

In fact, State in-

a statement
piece with a
classy outfit but
is also not very heavy on

On being asked about
what motivated her to
start a brand that cur-
rently caters to the Bol-
lywood industry, Shrish-
ti said, “Everyday jewel-
lery is something I have
absolutely loved to wear,
but could hardly find
something that does not
wear off in a couple of
days. Being a jewellery
designer myself, I
thought of turning my
passion into a business

thing that would solve
the most common
problem amongst
people.”
“I love travelling
and finding inspi-
ration to design
something new
every day. ALSO is a

fering the best designs

wood, pottery and other
Indian techniques to sup-
port the local artisans,”
mentioned Shrishti.

riti Sanon is one of the most loved ac-
tresses in Bollywood. Recently a video of
the Raabta actress from the aircraft has
been going viral. This video grabbed all
the limelight as she was travelling in
economy class. Yet another video from
the same flight is making our hearts melt
when we can see her playing with a cute baby. She
wore a white coloured dress and looked pretty as
she made her way out of the flight. Passengers
captured her while she covered her face with a
mask and walked out. In the next video, she is
seated in her seat while a baby who is seated right
in front of her
seems to be quite
intrigued with
the actress. Even
the Raabta star
seems to be en-
joying herself
as she is play-

Shehnaaz made her big Bollywood debut with Salman Khan and Pooja Hegde
starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. In a recent interview, Shehnaaz Gill reacted
after the interviewer translated every fan question for her from English to Hindi.
Initially, she answered a few questions and then interrupted the interviewer to re-
spond that she understands English. The incident happened in a recent interview
with Connect FM Canada. Shehnaaz was quoted saying, “English mujhe thodi thodi
samjah aane lagi hai ab. Itni bhi failure nahi hun main (I understand English a little

while saying this and the interviewer also gave back a smile.

of the hottest couples. Priyanka is currently on
a promotional spree and is leaving no stones
unturned to promote her upcoming web show

Quantico actress looked stunning in her green outfit
but the one thing
which grabbed all
the attention was

making netizens go gaga over him.

If sources are to be believed, in recent days, Yogi has received an important message from the BJP top leadership that ‘he is going to play an important role in the 2024 general elections.’ He will also have a big responsibility to bear the expenses of the party. In fact, in the ‘Global Investor Summit’ organ- ized by Yogi in Lucknow recently, an investment of Rs 32.92 lakh crore has been promised and a record number of 18,643 MoUs were signed. Earlier, in the ‘Global In- vestor Summit’, Gujarat used to be at the number one position. When Narendra Modi was the CM of Gujarat, there was an investment of about 15 lakh crore rupees, which was a record. Now Yogi has planned to set up a new industrial city on the lines of Noida at Shandila near Hardoi, which is only two and a half hours away from Lucknow airport. Sharad Pawar is an expert player of poli- tics, but if ever he starts scoring goals in his own post, then understand that he has changed his allegiance. His eagerness to change faces has been clearly visible from his politics till now. So, when he has a closed-door meeting with Gautam Adani for about two hours, he assumes the posture of rejecting the JPC’s demand on the Adani episode. If sources are to be believed, he has had long conversa- tions with the BJP top brass too. There are murmurs in the political circles that Pawar has a secret agree- ment with the BJP that Sharad Pawar’s daughter Supriya Sule can become a minister at the center and his Nephew Ajit Pawar may be the new Chief Minister of Maharashtra in place of Shinde. But Ajit Pawar started appearing in a different color. He removed the symbol of NCP from his Twit- ter handle and speculations started that now the time has come for him to bloom. In fact, 16 MLAs of Eknath Shinde faction are still facing the threat of disqualifica- tion. This case is still pending in the court, so if these 16 MLAs of Shinde faction are disqualified by the court, then the Shinde government will come in minority, so BJP has placed a bet on Ajit Pawar under its backup plan. But it is famous about Sharad Pawar that he has expertise in playing two and a half moves on political chess. So he has tied his strings with the Congress as well. He wanted to come to Delhi and meet Rahul at 10 Janpath but Rahul asked him, “Why not have this meeting at Kharge’s residence.” In the famous Umesh Pal murder case, in a CCTV foot- age, notorious Atiq’s follower Guddu Muslim is seen throwing a bomb. While most of the accused have been killed by the UP STF, but the whereabouts of Guddu Muslim are still not known. But there is also a myth associated with Guddu that ‘whoever he is with, gets killed’. It is said that he has an old habit that he either kills the said person himself or gets him killed by being an informer. When he was with Satyendra Singh Langad, he got him killed him with the help of Santosh Singh. Then Santosh Singh was killed by Bahubali Dhananjay Singh on Guddu’s information. It is said that then this person started making bombs for Mukhtar Ansari, but when Mukhtar went to jail, he joined Atiq Ahmed. Sources also claim that UP Police and STF killed Atiq’s son Asad and his accomplice Ghulam in an encounter in Jhansi on the basis of information received from Guddu Muslim. Atiq’s brother Ashraf wanted to tell the media persons before his death - ‘Main baat hai ki Guddu Muslim...’, however, he was killed before he could finish his sentence. It is being said about Guddu Muslim, who has a prize of 5 lakhs, that these days he has become the biggest informer of UP STF. The alliance between the Congress and the Left parties got a new face in the Tripura elections, gas the results of the alliance were also encouraging. So, the same pattern was repeated in Manipur also. Now intense brainstorming is going on in the Congress as to why not in the 2024 general elections, following the same pattern i.e. by forging an alliance with the Left parties, the Congress should together present a challenge to Mamata and the BJP in West Bengal. The coming days may be difficult for Nitish Kumar, who is working tirelessly day and night in the initiative of opposition unity. Ever since he broke the alliance with BJP and formed government with Lalu’s party, the Center is constantly eye- ing Nitish. ED and CBI are continu- ously questioning RJD President and State Deputy CM Tejashwi Ya- dav and the sword of arrest is also hanging on them. So, CBI is con- tinuously increasing its resources for the complete siege of Nitish and Tejashwi. If reliable sources are to be believed, in recent days, CBI has taken more than 100 houses on lease in Patna, that means more and more CBI people are in Patna, and this aspect is also like an alarm bell for Nitish! Recently, Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh met Prime Minister Modi and shared his mind. Earlier, there were indications that Rajnath would not contest the 2024 elections as he would be 73 by next year, but it is said that Rajnath has expressed his wish to the PM that ‘he wants to contest the Lok Sabha election of 2024 from Lucknow seat only, i.e. the same seat and this will be his last election. In fact, Rajnath’s younger son Neeraj Singh, who oversees the entire work of the Lucknow parlia- mentary constituency, is keen to enter active politics. Neeraj is associated with BJP since 2000. Rajnath’s elder son Pankaj Singh, who is BJP’s MLA from Noida as well as the party’s state vice-president, has actually set his sights on the Lucknow parliamentary seat. So the biggest challenge before Rajnath is how he can manage both his son and provide a a new sky to their political ambitions. In what couldbe termed as a major develop- ment in the Sanjivani Credit Society episode, the Madhya Pradesh government has recommended a CBI inquiry into the matter. There are some victims from MP who had lodged an FIR against the society, whereas in Rajasthan, union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was also seeking the same and filed a petition in Jodhpur High Court regarding the same. Now the road has become easier with the decision of Madhya Pradesh government and sooner or later the investigation will go out of the hands of Rajasthan SOG and go to CBI, and this could have far-reaching political consequences. First India Bureau Jaipur: The internal survey conducted by Congress has got the party high command on an alert mode. Sources have revealed that according to the survey, tickets of MLAs can be cut in large numbers. It is being murmured in the relevant political circles of the grand-old prty that Congress can cut tickets of more than 90 MLAs as there is im- mense anti-incumben- cy atmosphere in all these constituencies. In fact, State in- charge Sukhjinder Sin- gh Randhawa has re- portedly bluntly told these MLAs in one to one dialogue that 'Ac- cording to the survey your condition is bad, you will not be able to win'. However, it is also being said that Con- gress party is strong in rest of the seats. First India Bureau Jaipur: In view of the assembly elections, Congress has made im- portant appointments in Rajasthan. Now, AICC Secretary Amri- ta Dhawan has been given the responsibili- ty of Rajasthan along with Kazi Nizamuddin. Similarly, Virender Singh Rathore has also been given responsibil- ity of Rajasthan as sec- retary. All these secretaries will work together with general secretary in charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa. Meanwhile, Secretary Tarun Kumar has been relieved of his respon- sibility. But the ques- tion remains as to what is the meaning of appointment of Qazi Nizamuddin, since Kazi is considered close to Sachin Pilot. The press release said Congress presi- dent Mallikarjun Kharge appointed the new AICC secretaries with immediate effect. The party named Rathore in place of Tarun Kumar.
