journalist, an analyst or a thinker (even of a certain group of
authors), with respect to a particular event or problem, or issue
today, or of general interest or historic. Through these texts is to

4. SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE
• A scientific article (sometimes also called paper as anglicised) is a
research work intended for publication in specialized journals.
• Aims to publicise in a clear and accurate manner, the results of an
investigation carried out on a specific area of knowledge. It also
seeks to promote the development of innovative experimental
methods.
• In many occasions the scientific articles are synthesis of reports or
theses on a larger scale, that guide the efforts of those who may be
interested to see the original work. Sometimes the English word
paper has a slightly broader meaning, because it also incorporates
the papers.
5. GOVERNMENT EMERGENCY
“EL NIÑO”
• The peruvian Government extended the state of emergency in 14 regions of
the country by the danger of rain in the coming months by the El Niño
phenomenon, according to a supreme decree published this Wednesday in

• The emergency includes the northern regions of Tumbes, Piura and
Lambayeque, La Libertad, Cajamarca and Amazonas, the central San
Martin, Ancash, Lima and Junín, and the southern of Ica, Arequipa, Cuzco
