Introduction:
FAPA Bangladesh. Bangladesh was established in 2011 by take over the Gazipur project from
an NGO in Bangladesh. Eng.sibbir Ahmed, as its founder President.FAPA Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is the only registered NGO in Bangladesh, which has pledged in its Constitution to
work for Education or Street children Support of Bangladesh. Was Established in 2011 by who
had been in Bangladesh immediately after the independence of Bangladesh for prticipting to
the rehabilitation program of the war affected people. Since then, FAPA Bangladesh. has
been working with the disadvantaged and deprived section of the Street children or rural and
urban people in Bangladesh.
Vision of the organization:
The primary goal of the project to save the children from being lost as street children, as these children
have been living in camps without having any access to basic education. And to provide support to the
community in its struggle to join the mainstream of the society with improved social and economic status.
A society, which fulfils the fundamental demands of the poor women and children, in which
social harmony, peace, justice and ecological balance prevail in Bangladesh.
Mission of the organization:
FAPA Bangladesh. Bangladesh. Will bring about an improved quality of life for the poor
women and children in the social and economic sphere. Especially by using awareness
techniques to empower the beneficiaries with the skills to survive and to assist them to
access their legal and democratic rights in Bangladesh.
Since its foundation, FAPA Bangladesh. Bangladesh has implemented the project FAPA
Bangladesh. Model School till 2011 where about 320 students attended their classes from
class 1 to class 5. The organization has also been delivering health services in Geneva Camp
through. The other significant project is Community Development Centre (CDC) which was
established in 2013 with the support from the local well wishers of the community. The
objective of the project is to encourage the community to Help your Self.
Keeping in mind that education is the only key method for the social, cultural and economic
development of the community their young generation FAPA Bangladesh. Bangladesh has
committed to promote its project Education Development Program (EDP) and hope this
program will be supported and encouraged by all concerned. The

1. Disaster Management
FAPA Bangladesh. IS implementing child cantered DRR, The target group consists of children
and community risk assessment, develop school safety plan, develop contingency plan t
household, school and community level, mock drills, develop modules on DRR and cpie,
conduct training, awareness session, dialogue nd workshop to develop beneficiaries and
stakeholders’ aware children and community about sexual and gender based violence etc,

governance project in sreepur gazipur, the target
group is sreepur slum children. the major activities are
complain and response mechanism local structure and
services in the slum, awareness raising, educate the
children Bout child rights, children database, mapping
the services available in the slum etc.

FAPA IS implementing a number of projects in, sreepur, kapasia, tongi, gazipur the target
group is working children. Dropped out children and child labor, the major activities include
non-formal education service, TVET, apprenticeship, protection, entrepreneurship, awareness
raising, etc,

FAPA Bangladesh. the major activities are complain and response mechanism ,receiving and
resolving children’s complain set up complain boxes in different places in involving local
administrators and law enforcing agencies in the mechanism, Rehabilitation, Reintegration,
counselling, day care and night shelter for street children, protection form sexual abuse and
trafficking, child protection in emergency, training and module development on child
protection, introduce code of conduct to the employers ,school campaign, distribute first aid
box etc.
5. Health and Nutrition
FAPA Bangladesh. incorporates health and nutrition issues like first aid, specialized doctor’s
treatment, nutritional guide, awareness raising session, linkage and networking with health
service providers, health and hygiene materials applied, psycho-social support, organize yoga
and meditation session, provide health cards through service providing organizations, mother
and child health care and support, sexual and reproductive health rights of the street boys
and girls, child day care support etc,

children in Bangladesh. The organization was named as Social and
Economic Enhancement programme - FAPA
Initially the organization was involved in charitable work like running
feeding centres or distributing clothes for the needy and
malnourished children in times of disaster such as drought, floods or
cold weather, In 2013, FAPA Started to work with children in a slum in
sreepur, gazipur, Dhaka. Almost simultaneously, it started working
with the hard-core child labourers at ward 6 in Sreepur , gazipur-1740
who were involved in handlooms and embroidery work.
