Creatinga new publication
To create a new publication
1. Click on File tab to display the backstage view.
2. Choose New option.
3. Click on Blank publication or any ready-made template to create a new
publication.

7. a. Just want to insert blank pages OR create one text box on each
page.
b. You may decide number of pages you wish to insert and
whether these new pages should be before or after the
current page
TO INSERT A NEW PAGE IN A PUBLICATION
1. Right-click in pages pane, and choose insert
Blank page option. OR
2. In pages pane ,right-click on a page thumbnail and choose insert page
option.
3. In Insert Page dialog box, you may choose the following options:

8. TO RENAME A PAGE IN A PUBLICATION
1. In Pages pane, right-click on a page thumbnail and
choose Rename option.
2. In Rename page dialog box, type the page title (name)
and click on OK button.
3. The New name is only seen when you move your
mouse pointer over the page thumbnail.

9. TO DELETE A PAGE IN A PUBLICATION
1. In Pages pane, right-click on a page
thumbnail and choose Delete option.
2. A message box appears. Click Yes button to
delete the page with all its objects.

The Quick access toolbar lets you access common commands no matter which
tab is selected, by default it includes save, undo and repeat commands, you can
add other commands depending on your preference

Ribbon contains multiple tabs, each with several commands, you will use these
tabs to perform the most common tasks in publisher.
o Page Navigation
Pages pane gives a smaller view of the pages in your publication. You can add,
delete rename, duplicate or move the pages using this pane.
