This letter provides a glowing recommendation for Evan Oman from his former employer Kerry Harrison, owner of Harrison Specialties LLC. Harrison states that Evan was the best employee he ever had, arriving on time daily and giving 100% attention and effort to every task without complaints. Evan made few mistakes, learned CNC machining quickly, and could run machines unsupervised within a week despite no prior experience. Harrison was sad to see Evan leave but remains thankful for the opportunity to work with such a dedicated employee.

Dear Sir or Madam,
It is my great privilege to write this letter of recommendation for Evan Oman. I am the owner of Harrison
Specialties LLC in Elk River, Minnesota. We are a machining and manufacturing company.
I hired Evan to work with us during the summer of 2011. The condensed recommendation for Evan would be to
say that he is the best employee I have ever had hired. Evan has restored my faith in the younger generation. I
now believe there are still good young people out there who really do want to work hard and learn things and
truly become part of a team.
Following are the reasons why I feel this way:
He arrived at work on time every day.
He gave 100% attention to every task, every day.
He worked very hard all day, every day. He even worked through breaks and stayed late to get the job done.
He always did the very best job he could possibly do and he produced hundreds of beautiful parts.
When a very rare mistake was made, he told us about it right away and never tried to hide anything.
He never complained, even once, about anything.
He was very respectful and courteous to other employees and management.
He kept his cell phone in his pocket while working.
He asked before making a phone call or using a computer for personal reasons, even while on break.
He is a very intelligent quick learner who catches on immediately.
He caught onto CNC machining right away and I was able to let him edit programs and run unsupervised in
less then one week. Since he had no prior machine shop experience at all this absolutely amazed me. This
has never happened before and I have attempted to train a number of people to run our machines and that's
normally a long grueling process.
The only negative thing I have to say about Evan is he could not be convinced to change careers to machining
and stay here with us, bummer. I was sure sad to see him go but I am very thankful we got to know him and
work together for one summer.
I understand this letter almost sounds too good to be true so it may be hard to believe. If you'd like to verify this
letter is authentic by speaking to me in person feel free to contact me by phone at 763-441-0176. I can also be
reached via e-mail at .
In closing, based on my experience with Evan I would say don't let him get away. Men like him are hard to find!
Sincerely,
Kerry Harrison
