2. The thursday, 15th December, my class we went to the
Barcelona airport, The Airport Prat. We went in bus. When we
arrived, we did a little tour by the airport. First, we were in
departures (where the people waited for took a plane). Finally,
we were in arrivals (where the people arrived from some
different airport) for the interviews.

3. SIGNS AT THE AIRPORT
We saw a lot of signs, pictures and text in three different languages.

These were the first signs that were
in airport. It indicated where were
the departures and the check-in
(flight billing). In the photo we saw
some airlines, like Turkish Airlines,
TAROM and s7 Airlines.

There were many signs, the most
were about some check-in’s, another
is about you need help with anything.
Another indicate where were the
boarding gates. And the last indicate
where you can found means of
transport.

There many signs like the photo.
This signs mean what time landed
the planes or what time takes off. It
can be seen some cities, countries
and airlines.

Self check-in: If you bring the flight
ticket already printed from home,
you didn’t need to wait.
On the right you can saw the size
of your baggage, and if you need to
pay something (if the baggage is
bigger).
7. AUDIO - ANNOUNCEMENTS AT THE TERMINAL
The Airport Prat is an airport where didn’t use a lot of announcements
because they used more the signs, but while we were did the tour in the
airport, we heard two announcements in three languages (spanish,
catalan and english). As there were some people, they audios don’t listen
very well.

8. THE INTERVIEW
When we were in the arrivals, we had to
did an interview to a passenger that
came from a flight. First, I recorded the
video of Ariadna’s interview. “The
passenger was very funny and polite.”-
said Ariadna.
After, I did the interview to an portuguese.
He was very friendly and although he was
in a hurry, he accepted with a smile to
answer my questions.

12. MY OPINION ABOUT THE EXCURSION

I like this excursion because it’s a new way to learn about the airport and to know what to do or
where to go when you get to one. Although it was difficult did the interview because the passengers
were hurry and they said “no”. But, when we did the interviews, we were very happy.
